Standing in front of the local angel tree, I am looking over all the kids in need. One by one I grab an angel from the tree....another and another....wouldn't it be nice to take all of the Angel's and buy gifts!!
Some might think you would have more joy from getting a gift, but actually giving creates more happiness. It also encourages others to do the same.
It does not matter if you give a lot or a little. What matters most is really appreciating the importance of those around you, family, friends, your community. Giving should not be something you do just during the holidays, but do so all throughout the year.

Respect is very important to me. When I was 11, I designed a t shirt in honor of my Great Grandad & Great Uncle all because I wanted to show them how much I respected them & the hard work they did. My whole co. is based on showing respect & appreciation to those who work hard and go above & beyond to help others. I meet all of these Firefighters, Police, EMS, Nurses, Military and more!.... and they all deserve great respect as they all sacrifice so much to make our lives better. We all want to live our best life, after all we only get one. It seems like in this crazy world we live in, people of all ages get caught up. They blindly follow and fall into groups where they lose their voice.
Instead of going with the crowd and worrying about what people think of you, just be you. Quit caring about what people say...whether it's work or school or anywhere. Break out from the molds that you get wrangled into and do your own thing, be your own person.

I read somewhere that at the age of 7, something in the brain allows us to feel regret. I don't know if that is true, but I find it interesting. I always hear people saying "no regrets" but is that really possible? Most likely sometime, somewhere, somehow we would all do something that evoked the feeling. I believe how you deal with the regret is the key. You can recognize it, acknowledge and learn from it or let it stifle you and render you stagnant. You do have to stop wishing and waiting for things to happen, don't be scared to go out and do something. You have to take chances and yes regrets so you have the ability to grow...
